Rep. Morgan Irwin was born and raised in Enumclaw, where he grew up on his family’s cattle ranch. He is a graduate of Washington State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business and economics. He is proudly serving his first term in the state House of Representatives.
Morgan is currently an officer with the Seattle Police Department, patrolling in some of South Seattle’s toughest neighborhoods. He has also held positions in the finance industry as a loan writer for farmers and large agribusiness firms.
Morgan is no stranger to government policy as he served on the Enumclaw City Council. He worked to balance the city’s budget without reserve funding, protect vital infrastructure and strengthen the police department.
Morgan and his wife, Melissa, live in Enumclaw. They have three beautiful daughters. They are members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. From time to time, Morgan can still be found helping out around the family ranch. He is a current NRA member and an avid outdoorsman.
